Obey the Kitteh!
I just thought I would share my latest purchase. I stumbled upon this freaking awesome website where they do spoofs on old communist propaganda art with various breeds of dogs and cats, and I simply couldn't control myself. I ordered the below image in poster and and t-shirt. Now my coworkers will have to deal with my giggling every time that I look at the poster which will be proudly displayed on my desk. I'm fairly certain it will never get old...

Monsters and Mentors
So today was the first day I could log into my animation mentor page and view my fellow class mates and my mentor. So far so good. Since it seems to be the hip thing to have a animation mentor blog, how fortunate for me that I already have a blog right here. So I guess I will be posting updates and work on here from time to time.
Also in my travels today I found a neat 2d short (actually I think I found on my mentors blog). Thought I would share it. Make sure you watch the ending...

In Search of God
I'm currently at work animating a cut scene, and I was just listening to NPR's BBC world service. They had a part of a three part program by John Humphry entitled "In Search of God". Humphry, who is no longer believes in God, has interviewed three different religious figures and asked them to try and convince him of the existence of God. I haven't listened to all three interviews (just the one with Rabbi Sacks) but as someone who myself is... faith challenged, I really enjoyed the very insightful and intelligent interview. I love to listen to these kind of things, like Richard Dawkins, but I find I have a hard time sharing him with other people because he tends to invoke a much more pronounced emotional response. However I truly found the Humphry interview tasteful and thought I would share it with you all.
