Force Powers Pre-Vis
Okay everyone, FINALLY something a little more visual I can show you all! Lucas Arts just showed a Pre-Vis at Comic Con in San Diego that was just released to the public. It's available at several places, but IGN just came out with a story on it (front page lead article no less), includding an interview with my boss ("project lead" as we call it in the biz) Haden Blackman. Now this was created before I started at Lucas Arts, so obvisouly none of it is my work. But this will give you a feel for the kind of work I am and will be doing for a while.

The Amazing Screw-On Head
Time for another installment of show and tell. Today I brought with me "The Amazing Screw-On Head" pilot episode. This new animated series from Mike Mignola, creator of "Hell Boy" features the voice talents of Paul Giamatti, David Hyde Pierce, and Molly Shannon. It's quite possibly the best animated series I have seen in a very very long time. Besides the fact that it's art direction is superb and outright hilarious, it's overwhelming delightfully bizarre. These days Adult Swim on Cartoon Network more often then not tries too hard be bizarre and random, and usually just ends up sucking ("Tom Goes to the Mayor", "Squidbillies", the list goes on and on). So Adult Swim, you're on notice, re-runs of Pee Wee's Playhouse aren't going to cut it against upcoming shows like this. So without further delay, go forth and watch the pilot episode:

Make sure to fill out the survey after to tell SciFi channel you want more! SciFi is notorious for not recognizing quality when it is slapping them in the face. |

Game over man, game over! GAME OVER!
So North Korea is firing missiles, Iran is making nukes, Iraq is.... Iraq, Israel "freaking out man", Russia is getting all snipitty, and Canada is amassing an underground invasion force the likes of which the world has never seen. Go ahead, just TRY and prove me wrong on that, I tell you those maple syrup drinking, bacon muchin villans are not to be trusted.
Anyway all this brings me to reason number 137 why I love living in San Francisco:
"You can wrap yourself in the warm blanket that is the liberal reality distortion field, and pretend the rest of the world works this way too." |

Updated Resume
Now that I am an "industry professional" and all I thought I would update my resume. Check it out, according to it I work at Lucas Arts. In other news have had a few complaints that I haven't been updating my blog... and well, I have no excuse. Been busy playing video games (which is all research thank you very much) and going to Napa Valley and such. So yea, one of these days I shall get back to it more. In the mean time, enjoy this hilarious Star Wars parody from Robot Chicken.
