Muslim extremists are "delightful"?

I haven't made an entry in awhile, but everything is going really well in San Francisco! I promise I will write a longer "life" update soon, with lots of cool photos that will stay crunchy even in milk.
In the mean time I'll give you my latest installment of This American Life episodes you can't continue to live without listening to. This episode aired last week which was a repeat entitled "Them", as in us vs. them. You can find it on the front page for now. The first story is about a Muslim extremist who was living in England, referring to himself as "Bin Laden's man in London". However when a reporter meets him, the line between enemy and delightful slightly crazy person becomes seriously blurred. I've listened to this one several times and it still doesn't cease to amaze me. The other two stories are equally entertaining, including a foreign Santa Clause that instead of giving presents, beats children and travels with six to eight black men, I'm not saying anymore. |
